Best Out of Waste - An Environmental Club Initiative

Prakruthi- The Enviromental club of LBRCE yet with an another magnificent effort to bring in change has pioneered an another event intended this time to not only the fraternity of Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering but also to the national level representatives with stage being set up at Lakshya 2K18, The 21st National Technical and Cultural Symposium of the Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering.

Prakruthi has been associated with ITC Limited, India for this event. The representatives from the ITC Limited trained few of our handpicked, best at job volunteers in creating the awareness on  reusing the household by products. With this motivation and guidance Prakruthi organised a competition which encourages students of LBRCE to create a useful yet attractive state of art crafts. The crafts were then displayed on the day of the event, Lakshya 2K18 i.e. 27-Dec-2018  at campus premises. The craft creators were also given a chance to sell their crafts. This ensured the intended audience to appreciate the beauty hidden in the household by products they usually dispose.

Our volunteers had also done a pretty good job at educating the people attending the  event. The crafts were also judges based on the contest theme, usefulness and attractiveness of the craft and were awarded the winner and runner up prizes.

Prakruthi thanks the representatives of ITC, India and ITC Limited for their wonderful  association with us and their time and for educating our volunteers and appreciates its initiatives towards the environment. Furthermore, Prakruthi acknowledges the efforts of all the students for being a part of a social cause for a better planet, better health and better future and  congratulates them on their unprecedented effort in making the crafts. Prakruthi also thanks the conveners of Lakshya 2k18 and Dr. K Appa Rao, Principal, Lakireddy Bali Reddy College of Engineering for their support in making this event a resounding success. Prakruthi also  recognizes, thanks and congratulates the efforts put forth by the coordinators and volunteers for making the event, the success it has been. We at Prakruthi are proud of their efforts.
